More technical

The Trakian are based on a proprietary windowing system and many other components.
It includes also a communication socket.
And because it is targeted principally to peer to peer connections, the first version not use TCP/IP but a Zmodem protocole, faster and requiring less bandwith. And Zmodem is also a complete system to exchange many files on modem connexions.

Trakian has also inside a file manager completely independant from the underlying operating system. A file server also independant from Trakian himself. In fact the same as Charlie, the HTML viewer.
Trakian can analyze and display a classic Email like those sent by Outlook or Netscape Messenger.
And it can analyze a big Email, with attached files. A multipart Email.

And to complete this, the windowing system, very small, is like many an operating system exchanging messages with the computer, the keyboard and other parts of the system.

Last but not least, Trakian (and Charlie) are fully independant, having inside a memory manager completely independant from the OS and managing alone all the memory space required. Collecting garbage and everything, like the WIN9....!
Exactly like it but faster and smaller, far smaller!
And Trakian and all components have no bugs.

Of course they are "object oriented programs", with all part being objects for the others, exchanging messages and results of any action.
