An electronic board with all what is needed for an Internet terminal.
It is 95 x 87 mm. wide. The board include 2 DSP processors, a small component, very powerfull just like you find in your GSM if it is a new generation. A Texas Instruments DSP, of 50 MIPS computation power.

The board is also equiped with 256 Kbytes of fast static RAM. And it include also a Solid State Disk of 16 Mbytes. On this disk it is able to memorize thousands of HTML pages with images.
But it include also a fast SDRAM of 2 Mbytes. Managed like a Ramdisk, it permits to store programs or datas.
2 others memory components of type EDO DRAM exist on the board, one as main memory for the second DSP, the second as video memory.
And a programmable logic component is used to manage all the logic of the board.

The programs running on this board are Charlie, our browser, HTML 3.2 compliant. But also a TCP/IP stack, a realtime kernel, a storage manager (yes, a disk manager but this is not a disk!), and we have a GUI, a graphical one, also very small and fast.
Ofcourse later other softwares like Email, FTP,....

One DSP is used as main processor.
The other is the graphic controler, communicating with the main processor through an host port at 1.5 Mbytes/sec.
This graphic engine manage the 2 video memories, one as general memory, the other as display memory.
The programmable logic is also used and connected to all elements on the board, capable to control all what is done.

This board can be sold as a complete unit fabricated by us.
Else it can be licensed or all technologies and design can also be sold.
